If you're a cancer patient (or are caring for one), we know something of what you're going through. We - CancerWife and CancerHusband - are a young couple recently married. CancerWife was recently diagnosed with a Synovial Sarcoma. CancerHusband has devoted himself full-time to taking care of her and to support her as best as he can.
The amount of new information a newly diagnosed cancer patient has to deal with is overwhelming. If you're like us, you'll want to know any information out there that might give you an edge in beating your cancer.
There are many factors that make it difficult to determine what's accurate out on the internet. There are parties with vested interest such as supplement or drug manufacturers intent on promoting sales. There are conservative doctors who are rightly cautious about accepting new treatments or ideas. There are desperate cancer patients willing to try anything. Last but not least, there are also unscrupulous parties taking advantage of the situation to peddle unproven cures of all sorts.
We've spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours, poring over information that might be helpful. We'll try to organize and share our findings with you in as unbiased and objective a manner possible. We just started this website in July 2008 so check back frequently as we'll be adding more of our research along the way. It is the sincerest hope that the information compiled by us will be of benefit to you.
